A. Some of the skills Melanie Burford utilize to produce this slide show, was that she used real moments with vivid emotions, also she added music, and speakers in the background that relate to the photos.
B. The effect of the multimedia added power or meaning to the slide show, which caused the slides show to be more effective to the audience, because the vocalist sang through out the whole slide show.
3. The most interesting multimedia that i feel interesting would be their troubled history, because it talks about how Sugar Hill first started, and how troubled they still are. However, i feel that the most shocking media was the police videos because of how they disrespect & abuse eachother.

*Photojournalism Assignment*
1.Some of the challenges I had while trying to get close, capture real moments, and capture action or emotion was only that I had to be prepared for anything and get ready for the photo as fast as possible. I dealt with them by just being ready and thinking ahead, of what might happen so that i will be in the correct position.
2.The technical aspects of photography that i found thinking about the most were focus, composition, exposure, and some of the rules. I made sure I did these correctly by reminding myself what they were right before the picture was taken or a few min. before.
3. I tried to use at least one of the advanced composition techniques by reminding myself what they were. For example lines, i took a photo of someone walking up the stairs because it showed repetitive lines to draw viewers' attention to the center of interest.

Focal length of lens -EF 300mm
Shutter Speed -shot at 1/320
The effect of this shutter speed is that its not to fast but its not so slow its just right for the action.

Aperture-shot at f/13.0
The effect (Depth of field) of shooting at f/2.8L (IS USM), aperture was the range of distance around the focal plane. It does not change from sharp to unsharp, but instead occurs as a gradual transition. Sometimes, everything immediately in front of or in back of the focusing distance begins to lose sharpness.
Position - I think the photographer was standing near the shore to get a closer look & a better photo. However, the photographer mentions that he was "standing on a sand bar type island in the lake as the men jumped from a hovering helicopter."

After Printing!!!
Cleaned Negatives with photo flow solution, and dried them with a photo wipe. Then we loaded the Negative into enlarger and Focused image with the grain focuser, and set aperture to where we bearly see the image, but first we did this about three times with different timings, for the test strip to be made to find how much time & light the image needs so it won't be to dark or to light. Then, once we choose the timing for the image we made the final print with the 3x7 emulsion paper, and ran it throught the chemicals: developer, stop bath, fixer, and ran it through water for 5 min. and finally just let it dry in one of the racks.
