*Photojournalism Ethics*

  • I think a photojournalists ethics should be absolute because if it was situational there would be no rules and the photographers would be able to do w/e they wanted to with the pictures, and not everything can be situational.
  • Yes, i think a photo can capture truth because if it's captured correctly and properly it can show the proof and truth of the moment.
  • As a photographer i've had to crop, adjust levels, fix color, and sharpen the image that "edits" reality.
  • It's important that news organizations have clearly defined ethical standards, because it helps remind photographers about whats acceptable and whats not.
